The new album Screamnasium from O.R.k, featuring ex-Porcupine Tree bassist Colin Edwin, award-winning composer/vocalist LEF, King Crimson's Pat Mastelotto, and Marta Sui Tubi's Carmelo Pipitone is due for release on October 21, 2022 on Kscope. The expansive and emotive, Screamnasium is O.R.k's most essential album to date. Spontaneous yet intricately crafted, and perhaps the most concise.

O.R.K. is a collaboration between lead singer Lorenzo Esposito Fornasari, Porcupine Tree bassist Colin Edward, Mart Sui Tubi guitarist Carmelo Peptone and King Crimson drummer Pat Mastelloto. Taking KING CRIMSON's Thrak as a starting point, their influences range from alternative metal to math rock, psychedelic pop and progressive rock.

While O.R.k. 's first two albums featured odd, hand-drawn artistry, on Ramagehead we get a crazy, computer-generated humanoid courtesy of Tool 's Adam Jones. It's a dark and sinister piece of art, and that's very much what the band bestows upon us on this rather short (nine songs, 39 minutes) prog rock record.
